I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
Knowledge is power! One of the central roles of a doula is to provide access to reliable information and resources so that parents can make informed decisions. I also think it’s crucial to get a feel of who your doula is as a person. Because how else are you going to determine whether or not you really want her at your birth? You’ll find tons of information in my blog.
Kim was very helpful and professional. Her friendly demeanor was great and she got our [placenta] pills to us so fast!Amanda Lewis
When I met Kim I knew little to nothing about doulas or what they did and hadn't even considered it as an option for my birth. Her kind heart, gentle mannerisms, and down to earth, positive personality drew me in and we just clicked. Kim makes her 'doula and soon to be mama' relationship feel like more than a business transaction. Having Kim as your doula is like having a best friend who happens to be a birthing guru!! She really went above and beyond in the final weeks to help me relax and progress, and in the final hours (24.5 of them I may add) she was more help and support than I could have imagined! That girl sure knows her pressure points hehe. She knew exactly what I needed and could anticipate what and when before I could even form a word to ask. Thank you so much for everything Kim, I truly couldn't have done it without you!!!Chelsea Lawson
It doesn’t matter whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert; a first-timer or an old pro; a home-birther or hospital-oriented. What matters is that you’re supported. Here’s how I see my role on your birth team.
I just met you and I love you! Ok, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch. But I do think it’s pretty cool that you’re on my site and I want to thank you for visiting by giving you access to a resource page I’ve put together.
